The colour of your iron-on transfer

The colour you select on the colour chart is the colour your iron-on transfer will be. There is no background colour on the finished iron-on transfer.

Question: My logo has a specific colour code, and I would like my iron-on transfer to have the same colour code. Is that possible?
Answer: No, it is not. This is because heat transfer vinyl is a single-colour vinyl, as shown on the colour chart. Your iron-on transfer is cut from this vinyl and will therefore be the colour you select on the colour chart.

You can upload the following file formats:

• JPG
• PSD
• PNG with a transparent background

We recommend uploading images that are as large as possible, preferably at least 1500 x 1500 pixels, to achieve the best result. Files uploaded at a lower resolution or size will reduce the quality of the final result.

You should not scale down your image to the desired dimensions; we will take care of that. It is important that the image you upload is as large as possible to achieve a good result. 

Images with white text or white elements will not be visible because the design is printed on white vinyl. We recommend adding an outline around white elements so they are visible against the white background. 

The image you upload will correspond exactly to the finished product. 
If you need changes to your uploaded image, you must select assistance with artwork preparation.

Line thicknesses below 1 mm do not reproduce well in the print and should not be expected to appear.

IMPORTANT Do not upload screenshots unless you want the screenshot itself to be used. We create the design from the uploaded file, so if you upload a screenshot, your entire screenshot will be used as the design.

When we design your iron-on transfer, our goal is always to deliver a product that meets both your high standards and ours. There may therefore be cases where the dimensions you requested will not produce the result we know you want.

Web design vs. iron-on transfers – there is a big difference
A design that works perfectly on a screen can be difficult to reproduce as an iron-on transfer. On a computer screen, even the smallest details can appear razor-sharp thanks to the high resolution. However, when a logo that looks good at 20 x 20 cm is reduced to 2 x 2 cm, the details are compressed and the quality may decrease.

Simple designs work better
Designs that are already simple and do not contain many small details or varying text are much better suited to being reduced in size. Conversely, designs with many details or text in several sizes can be difficult to scale down.

Our main goal is for you to be happy with the finished product. In some cases, we may therefore adjust the requested dimensions and send you a layout that we believe will give the best result. This ensures that we deliver an iron-on transfer you will love rather than something that disappoints.

How to specify your dimensions
You can provide the height, the width – or both. Just remember to state what the measurement refers to, for example "height 17 cm". This helps us ensure together that you receive exactly the iron-on transfer you want!
